Hi, I'm Sean, the founder of Go To Apps.

I grew up getting my hands dirty, cleaning lawn mowers, mowing lawns and washing cars for money before leaving school at 16 and working in mining engineering. I've worked in fabrication, pest control sales, personal training and ran my own business in construction for 6 years.

I went all in on a career and sea change in my mid 20s believing I had more to experience, which led to a career in software that has now spanned well over a decade. The combination of my experiences has shaped how I work today and who I work with.

I now help businesses improve the way they operate by designing practical software and systems around how the business actually runs from the ground up.

Over the last few years, I happened to realise that most of the people I enjoy working with happened to be in fabrication and engineering - hands-on, honest, hardworking people creating things that need to work well - it's like a mirror of my own values and work-ethic.

I realised that I had skills and experiences from different angles that enabled me to help change their business for the better.

My focus is understanding the real operational problem, identifying where time, money, and momentum are being lost, and helping design solutions that work in the real world for real businesses; a business shouldn't operated around a solution, a solution should be built around the business.

Through Go To Apps, I work with businesses that need more than a developer - they need someone who can understand how their business works, think strategically, challenge their current methods and thinking, and can create the right solution for the right problems - exactly how they do for their clients and customers.

I care about good work, clear solutions, and building systems that encourage buy-in and reduce frustration for owners, leaders, and their teams.
